Tavola realizzata per il contest di Yukioshi "Yuki in the Future".
Ho deciso di raffigurare Yuki in questo modo perchè penso che fondamentalmente sia un personaggio molto solo: la sua solitudine la avvolge sempre come una specie di gabbia, nonostante sia circondata da eserciti di persone che le vogliono bene. Quindi l'ho immaginata oltre 100 anni nel futuro, quando ormai tutti i suoi affetti sono scomparsi, ancora bellissima ma ancora tristemente da sola nel suo regno d'argilla e sabbia.

Artwork made for Yukioshi's contest "Yuki in the Future".

I decided to represent Yuki like this because in my opinion she's basically a very lonely character: her loneliness always surrounds her like a sort of cage, even if she has lots of people who loving her.
So I figured her more than 100 years in the future, when all her loved ones are gone, still breathtakingly beautiful but also still sadly alone in her clay and sand kingdom.
