Skorpiovenator
bustingorryi.
Questa è la seconda tavola di "character design" per
questo "personaggio", che compare nel 5°
volume della serie "Dinosauri".
La tavola descrive la testa di Skorpiovenator in una specie
di proiezione ortogonale.
La cosa interessante – secondo me – di questo animale è
l'estrema rugosità di molte ossa del suo cranio il che, tradotto
in termini pratici, significava un muso letteralmente costellato di
bitorzoli e punte, quasi fosse un drago!
Si tratta di una caratteristica comune a tutti i Carnotaurinae, ma Skorpiovenator
in particolare mi sembra particolarmente dotato in questo senso. |

Skorpiovenator
bustingorryi.
This is the second part of a "character design" for this "character",
from the 5th book of the DInosaurs
series.
The table describes the head of Skorpiovenator in a kind of
orthogonal projection.
The interesting thing - in my opinion - of this animal is the extreme
roughness of many bones of his skull which, translated into practical
terms, it meant a head literally covered with spikes like a dragon!
This is a characteristic common to all Carnotaurinae but Skorpiovenator
in particular, seems to me particularly endowed in this regard. |
